Baked oatmeal! I fancied a change this morning for breakfast so decided to experiment.
Ingredients:
1 Apple
50g Whole Oats
2 Egg Whites
50ml Fat Free Milk
1 Tsp Cinnamon
1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
1/2 Tsp Baking Powder
Method:
Blend everything but the apple together until smooth. Stir in the apple.
Grease a heatproof dish and add the mix. Bake for 20-30 minutes!
It should have the consistency of a muffin when it is cooked. A delicious fat-free, sugar-free, all natural muffin. Yum!
Enjoy!
350 calories per batch. Plus, I guess you could serve it will yoghurt as a dessert? So versatile =D
Oatcake base pizza, topped with:
Salmon
Tuna
Red onion
Courgette
Pepper and
Tomato!
To make your oatcake blend:
1 whole egg
1 egg white
50g oats and
A splash of milk
Then poor the mix into a very hot frying pan. When the oatcake has cooked on one side flip it over and do the other.
Slide onto a baking tray and top with your desired pizza toppings!
Put in the oven for ten-fifteen minutes.
Enjoy!!!!!!
Great for those watching their weight with only 300 calories in the base! Awsome compared to the average of 700 calories in your average wheat base AND the slow release carbs in the oats will keep you satisfied for ages after eating!
I also use this recipe for oatcakes and top with fruit for breakfast (See previous posts).
Friday I am in class from 9am until 12:30pm. Only three and a half hours but it is three and a half hours out of a total of four and a half hours a week, therefore, it seems like a super long day.
Whilst I am in class my partner goes to the Uni library. Then when I am done I go and meet her. Seen as it is a super-duper long day (LOL) I need a good lunch to look forward to- hence the picture in the photo above. Tomorrow I shall be feasting on baby corn, sugar snap peas, cucumber and cherry tomatoes dipped in low fat hummus. I can hardly wait, I love picky lunches!
Have to add, how cute is my lunch box!?
